Meet Our Team
Dr Katrina Cox Bsc. ND
My story begins 15 years ago as a young freshly graduated undergraduate deciding what I wanted to do with my life.  I knew I wanted to work in healthcare but I needed to do something unique and with purpose.  After acceptance to Medical and Naturopathic college I decided that becoming a Naturopathic Doctor was my chosen vocation.
Upon graduating at CCNM she moved to Bowmanville to be with her husband Daniel.  Once here, she fell in love with the community and decided to begin private practice.  While in private practice she has done countless hours of continuing education in Canada and abroad. She has been to Germany many times to learn and study from practitioners of integrative medicine and more specifically cancer.  In 2014 she was invited to attend and present at an international integrative cancer conference.
Dr Katrina is passionate about helping those struggling with health and surviving chronic illness including cancer, regain control, rebuild confidence and redesign their life.  What I’m truly passionate about is helping people thrive and experience more freedom to love living their life again.
Katrina is a member in good standing of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Cara believes strongly in a patient-centered and integrative approach to health and well-being and encourages patients to be active participants in their individualized plans. Knowledge is essential in one’s journey to optimal health and wellness, and she will continually work to educate and empower patients to elicit change, thereby improving the quality of their lives. A Mother of two small children, Cara feels passionately about educating families on health and wellness.
